Does Apple respect theprivacy of iPhone users?

Re: “While you’re sleeping, your iPhone stays busy — snooping on you (Mercurynews.com, May 28):

I like the point in the article where it details how companies can get your data without you being aware of it. I believe this is an invasion of privacy.

It is our personal information and we should have the right to keep it private, as stated in the Fourth Amendment.

We are told by Apple that it will keep our data secure, but the company doesn’t seem to respect our privacy and has decided to share our information with other companies. We are unaware of how our data gets sent and Apple just ignores this.
